2020 SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL Recap

The Deep Water Initiative Team spent the past 10 days volunteering and viewing films at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. The team's film viewing experience was focused on filmmakers whose work highlighted environmental, spiritual, and ecological messages. Sundance is a particularly exciting film festival, and strives to highlight filmmakers from all walks of life that represent many marginalized communities, including: indigenous filmmakers, filmmakers of color, filmmakers focusing on disability, and filmmakers that orient their activism around environmental concerns.
